Our practice continues to invest in technology and training to perpetually improve the quality of care delivered to you, our patient. Our office remains one of the innovators in the introduction of CAD/CAM restorations in combination with implant placement for predictable, long term restorations. We also lead the field in the introduction of orthodontics without braces using a unique computer coordinated system in Canada. Certified in both surgical and prosthetic implant procedures by Nobel Biocare, 3i, Sendax MTI, Friadent, Straumann, Bicon, Paragon.
Received orthodontic training from the Canadian Straight Wire Association and is invisalign certified. He is also a member of the International Association for Orthodontics.
Certification for all wavelengths of lasers used in dentistry by the Institute for Laser Dentistry.
Dr. Tan is also a member of the Ontario dental Association, Recognized as a Certified General Dentist with Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
Member of the Academy of Osseointegration and the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
Dr. Tan is married to Wendy, whom he met at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario while obtaining his Bachelors of Science degree with honors.
He is blessed with his two sons Ryan & Daniel.
Graduate of Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts - with a degree in general dentistry. Served on the student council and computer technology consultant.
Past President of the Muskoka-Simcoe Dental Society (MSDS) and continues serving fellow dentists as a member of the executive committee since 1999. Dr. Tan has served as the treasurer, secretary and vice-president on the executive committee for the MSDS in the past.
Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
